What leisure activities does Bosch have to offer?
Each Bosch site has its own sports and leisure programme.
A great way to make friends.
Culture: music and drama
The Bosch music societies (symphony orchestra and choir) and the Bosch drama group are the company's “cultural ambassadors”. They take to the stage at Bosch sites and demonstrate just how much amateurs are capable of achieving under professional direction. Highlights in recent years have been concert tours to Spain, Great Britain, Australia, Italy and to Turkey. In 2006 the orchestra was in China, Japan and Korea for a concert tour.

The drama group produces a new play every two years. In 2006 and 2007 the latest production "Der Revisor kommt" was performed at different Bosch plants.

Sports: aerobics through to volleyball
The sports programme at Bosch sites has something for everyone. Fans of endurance training and lovers of ball sports alike will find something that is exactly to their taste. Or if you prefer gymnastics you'll find the right groups or courses for you. Golf, tennis, skiing, walking and sailing are activities offered at various different locations. On-site “sports co-ordinators” are responsible for co-ordinating the activities programme and organising what's on offer at each location.
The most extensive sports programme is offered in the Stuttgart area at the Feuerbach, Schillerhöhe and Schwieberdingen sites. Here Bosch employees can choose between 23 different activities.

Leisure: photographers and veteran cars
There are really varied leisure groups for Bosch employees to join at the various different sites. For example, there are two Bosch angling associations in Reutlingen and Stuttgart. At many sites amateur radio operators meet up after work to nurture their hobby in the radio room. Or those who like veteran cars can be found tinkering with their 'old jalopies' in their spare time. The group has a workshop in the industrial park of Schwieberdingen. Then there's the model-making group, divided into three sections focusing on cars, planes and ships, while in Stuttgart the photography club offers members several photographic excursions every year.
