Employee development: a top-priority issue at Bosch
We believe that employee development is a continuous process of preserving and improving the qualifications which our employees need to face the challenges of the present and the future. This applies to all employees of the Bosch Group.

Our aim is to be able to draw on the ranks of our own employees for the qualified personnel we need. And so it is an integral part of our employee development policy to stretch our employees with challenging or international tasks.

The support group: discovering and nurturing talent
The support group is an international instrument for quickly identifying and nurturing employees with above-average potential. If you are able and willing to assume responsibility in international teams and your personality meets our criteria, you could soon be part of this group. Within the support group, you will receive special support and individual development strategies to prepare you for the next highest management level. The support group helps us to recruit employees for professional and management positions as well as project work from our own ranks.

Training opportunities: Bosch has a lot to offer
Employee training is the basis of our corporate success. Employees in all positions and on all hierarchical levels have access to a wide spectrum of internal and external training opportunities. By arrangement with their superiors, employees can attend seminars during working hours. In addition, Bosch offers many opportunities for gaining qualifications outside working hours which are not directly related to the employee's working field. It is up to individual employees to decide whether or not to attend such courses. The Robert Bosch College, our in-house university, serves as a forum for professional and management staff to increase the company's competitiveness and innovative strength by disseminating university-level knowledge.

Robert Bosch Kolleg: the corporate university
The Robert Bosch Kolleg (RK) offers in-service education at university level to strengthen technical and business competence. In addition to seminars and colloquium lectures, RK also runs full management programs with the curriculas for general management, automotive technology and project management qualification. The RK systematically supports the learning process of the organization and functions as a learning platform for steered qualification.
