Our internships-offers are mainly directed at currently still-enrolled university students. It is very important for us to offer our interns a fair remuneration. This is why we do not offer voluntary, unpaid internships.
Employment as a student trainee is gladly accepted. Your weekly work hours can be adjusted to your needs and your university schedules. From marginal up to full-time employment, everything is possible. We are very interested in a longer period of employment with us.

No, the PreMaster Program is intended for graduates of Bachelor´s degrees. For graduates of a Diploma or Master’s degree, we offer the participation in the Junior Manager Program or the possibility of direct entry after studies.
We gladly accept applications from all over the world. Of course you should also speak German fluently and be pursing a Master’s degree at an Austrian university.

The PreMaster Program consists of two different stages: After a 6 to 12 month period of practical work in the company, you will start your Master’s degree, which usually takes about 2 years (4 semesters). During your MA studies you will also continue working at BOSCH. The starting point and the duration of the program are individually adjusted to your needs and university schedules. The maximum duration of the program is 3 years.
During the whole PreMaster Program, you are assigned to one particular department, where you actively contribute to the daily work and are also assigned your own projects. Throughout the whole program, a mentor is there to assist you. In addition, you also have the opportunity to complete subject-specific seminars and trainings. During your MA studies, you are able to reduce your weekly work hours and adjust them to your university-schedule.
Yes, the university as well as the field of study are freely selectable and do not have to be defined at the beginning of the company phase. Your mentor in your department will support you in your decision, but for the matriculation at your chosen university, you are responsible yourself. In the case of a non-admission to your Master’s program, the program ends.
There is absolutely no obligation to continue working at BOSCH after the completion of the program. Of course we are happy if we can welcome you back after the completion of your Master’s degree. Depending on the current vacant positions, there are many ways of continuing, for example:
• direct entry in the department where you already worked during your PreMaster Program
• entry in a different specialization- or management trainee program (Junior Managers Program)
The PreMaster Program also exists in a few other locations around the world. You can find our current vacant positions on our job portal www.bosch-career.at.

During the program you will receive an extensive budget, intended for your individual further education and training, as well as multiple opportunities to do networking with other participants in the program or specialists and managers. Throughout the whole program, a mentor will be there for you to provide support. This mentor will be one of the top executives at BOSCH.
At the start of the program, you receive an open-ended employment contract. In the last months of the program, once you have familiarized yourself with the different departments, your transfer to your permanent post will be prepared. This happens in coordination with your personal interests and the available capacities. Ideally, you will start working in your desired permanent position at your „Home Base“ and in a department which you got to know during the program.
The application process of the Junior Managers Program consists of several stages. First, the most promising candidates have an interview over the phone.
